My husband and I took a leap of faith and moved to Door County from Kentucky in 1994 - in March no less! I always joke that we loaded up the moving van in shorts and unpacked in snow suits. My husband started a small construction company and I started a small retail store in an old barn we rehabbed together. 32 years later we have expanded our business three times and we now work together at both Door County Nature Works and Designworks. We started Designworks over 25 years ago when we realized there was a need for quality home furnishings and interior design services in Door County. We have made incredible friendships through the years with our customers. I enjoy finding beautiful home furnishings and pairing customers with our talented design team. I truly want every client to love their home! Polly serves on the Door County Medical Center Board and the Ellie Helm Foundation.

As one of the owners of Door County Nature Works and Design Works, I am a certified Hunter Douglas installer. In my free time I like to restore antique tractors, play pickleball, and work on my farm. I serve on the Egg Harbor Public Works Committee, the Door County Y Board, Door County Pickleball Club Board, and Gibraltar Area School Board as well as the Ellie Helm Foundation.
